Project Description
The Road 225 Bike, Pedestrian, and Transit Improvements Project enhances pedestrian, bicycle, and transit access within the North Fork community through the construction of approximately 0.4 miles of multimodal transportation improvements. Located near North Fork Elementary School, the project includes an 8-foot-wide shared-use path, roadway shoulder widening, concrete curb and gutter, drainage improvements, and a new transit stop with a bus shelter. The project will improve safety, accessibility, and connectivity for residents while supporting active transportation and transit use. Due to its proximity to the school and accelerated summer construction schedule, careful coordination and oversight are essential to successful project delivery.
