Road 200 Bridge Replacement

MADERA COUNTY, CA

Project Description
CCME was the prime consultant on this $10 million bridge project. This project replaced an outdated bridge on Road 200 for Madera County. The new bridge is a three-span, cast-in-place, post-tensioned box girder bridge. This project also replaces a third of a mile of roadway to correct the alignment’s vertical and horizontal curvature, bringing it up to current standards, and includes over a thousand linear feet of Type 1 retaining wall. The project included retaining walls, rock blasting, imported fill, temporary creek diversions, cast-in-place bridge construction, and hot mix asphalt paving.

Services Provided
Services included, but were not limited to: documentation of preconstruction conditions, weekly progress meetings and coordination, submittal management and review, RFI management, construction inspection, progress payment estimates, QA material testing oversight, change order negotiation and writing, and project closeout, including final acceptance.
