Avenue 12 Widening Between SR 41 and Rd 40

Project Description
CCME is providing Construction Management services for a project that will convert the existing Avenue 12 from an arterial roadway to a divided Limited Expressway with four to six travel lanes. In addition to roadway widening, the project includes construction of center medians, curb and gutter, sidewalks, and ADA-compliant pedestrian facilities. Additional improvements consist of roadway structural section construction, pavement rehabilitation, driveway modifications, and access adjustments to adjacent properties. The work also includes installation of two new traffic signals and modification of a third. Other elements include construction of a 266-foot-long retaining wall; new and extended drainage facilities, including a 66-inch RCP; median hardscape; and landscape improvements. Utility work involves relocation, protection, and coordination of existing utilities.

Services Provided
Services included, but were not limited to: documentation of preconstruction conditions, weekly progress meetings and coordination, submittal management and review, RFI management, construction inspection, progress payment estimates, QA material testing oversight, change order negotiation and writing, and project close out including final acceptance.
