Almond Yard Bus Facility

Project Description
This project involves the construction of a new electric bus charging area, consisting of four rows of raised median islands located beneath four steel canopy structures. It also includes the construction of a CMU bus wash building with approximately 1,570 square feet dedicated to a wash bay and a 525-square-foot equipment room. Work includes the removal of existing asphalt paving, site grading, and the placement of new HMA and concrete paving to accommodate the new charging area. Additional improvements include the installation of a new storm drain system, a detention pond for stormwater runoff, new plumbing and electrical systems to support the bus wash building, and a new on-site water line connection to the existing system. CCME is providing both general and special inspection services in the field, while also managing key office responsibilities such as reviewing submittals, responding to RFIs, processing change orders, coordinating and leading weekly meetings, preparing and finalizing progress payments, monitoring labor compliance, reviewing SWPPP reports, and tracking WSWD requirements.

Services Provided
Services include but are not limited to: documentation of preconstruction conditions, weekly progress meetings and coordination, submittal management and review, RFI management, construction inspection, progress payment estimates, QA material testing oversight, change order negotiation and writing, and
project closeout, including final acceptance.
