Job Description: We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Engineering Intern. The ideal candidate will assist in overseeing public infrastructure and transportation projects, ensuring they are delivered on time, within budget, and in accordance with design plans and specifications.
Job Locations: In person at our Fresno Office, Monday through Friday
Responsibilities:
- Accompany Engineers on daily field inspections and documentation of construction activities as needed
- Assist with tracking quantities for payment and assist with reviewing contractor invoices and monthly pay applications
- RFI and submittal review under supervision
- Assist with constructability reviews
- Document field changes and help maintain as-built drawings
- Prepare meeting minutes, and other project documentation
- Coordinate with contractors and inspectors as needed
- Assist with schedule tracking, issue resolution, and punch list development
- Perform other related tasks as required
Qualifications:
- Actively pursuing a Civil Engineering degree
- Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills
- Basic knowledge of construction processes, materials, and codes
- Proficient in Microsoft Office; familiarity with Bluebeam
- EIT certification preferred or in progress
Pay: $24/ hr
