Project Description
CCME is providing construction management and inspection services for the Tim Bell Road Over Dry Creek Bridge Replacement project. The project involves constructing a 13-span, 960-foot-long, arched cast-in-place, post-tensioned box girder bridge supported on cast-in-drilled-hole (CIDH) piles. The new structure will clear-span both the ordinary high-water mark of Dry Creek and an adjacent oxbow lake formed by extreme flooding events. It will be constructed just downstream of the existing 140-foot-long concrete arch bridge, which features a wood spandrel system and a corrugated metal deck supported by spread footings. The new foundation will consist of CIDH piles up to 72 inches in diameter and 67 feet in length.
Services Provided
Services include but are not limited to; documentation of preconstruction conditions, weekly progress meetings and coordination, submittal management and review, RFI management, construction inspection, progress payment estimates, QA material testing oversight, change order negotiation and writing, and project closeout, including final acceptance.
